Religious Affairs Ministry asks people not to pay money until Hajj Policy announced

Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony has urged people to beware of fraudulent advertisements recruiting Khadmeen-e-Hajj.

In an exclusive talk with APP, the ministry’s spokesperson Muhammad Umar Butt said there are certain overseas employment promoters who are involved in fraudulent activities of hiring staffers for the services to pilgrims in the holy cities of Makkah and Madina.

He said people should not pay heed to such advertisements, as they have no authority over Khadmeen-e-Hajj recruitment.

Earlier, the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony had issued a public alert urging the intending pilgrims not to submit their hard-earned money to any private Hajj tour operator until the Hajj Policy 2022 is officially announced.
