Prof Zulfiqar Bhutta of the Aga Khan University (AKU) has been named among the top 100 medicine scientists in the first edition of Research.com’s top scientists ranking for medicine.
According to a statement, the rating is based on criteria that include the h-index, which indicates how productive and influential a researcher’s publications and citations are.
The ranking team looked at over 65,743 profiles for the discipline of medicine and 166,880 scientists on Google Scholar and Microsoft Academic Graph.
Professor Zulfiqar Bhutta is the top scientist from Pakistan and other low- and middle-income countries.
