VisaTribe.com requested information from “Schengen Visa Statistics”. According to this information, exactly 2,111,360 euros have been collected by the Schengen embassies in Pakistan last year.
Out of the 26,505 Schengen visa applications lodged in Pakistan, 13,586 visas were issued, making Pakistan one of the countries with the highest Schengen visa rejection rates.
Spain was the top favorite Schengen destination country for Pakistanis in 2021. 11,369 Pakistanis applied for a visa, of which only 4,656 visas were issued.
Germany was the second favorite Schengen destination of green passport holders. A total of 3790 Pakistanis applied for a Schengen visa through the German Embassy, out of which 2961 Pakistanis were issued visas.
Last year, the lowest number of Pakistanis preferred the Czech Republic for a Schengen visa. Only 115 people submitted their applications and 91 people managed to get visas.
The Greek embassy for Schengen Visa proved to be lucky for Pakistanis, where 324 people applied for visas and only 11 visas were rejected
