The first signs date back only three days ago. Over the weekend, the maximums dropped a few degrees thanks to the entry of slightly wetter eastern currents and some cloudiness, even if it didn’t drop much compared to 35 degrees.

Starting from today, the minimum night temperatures will increase (even around 25 ° C in large urban areas) with high heat and discomfort, and this will continue for two or three days, until the arrival of the great heat. That will not be mitigated even by the arrival of some thunderstorms: long-term trends predict above average temperatures and practically no rainfall at least until mid-August.
Friday will be the hottest day in Turin, peaks of 40 degrees are expected, and in the early hours of the night it shouldn’t drop below 33-34 degrees.
