Pasoori’ famed singer Ali Sethi has been included in the annual ‘100 Next’ list by the renowned American magazine Time magazine. He is the only Pakistani singer to be included in this list.

Time magazine launched the ‘100 Next List’ in 2020, and this year the magazine has released the third list in the series, featuring the 100 best people from around the world. The ‘100 Next List’ includes 100 of the world’s best personalities in a total of 5 categories.

Ali Sethi has been included as an ‘innovator’ in the list rather than an artist, and the article about him mentions his song ‘Pasoori’.

In praise of Ali Sethi, it is said that his song ‘Pasoori’ became a global hit and till now it has been viewed 40 million times on YouTube and the song is equally loved in India, Pakistan’s neighbouring country.
