Historical religious sites and antiques of Buddhism in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are no less than a great asset, 170 Buddhism followers from all over the world visited various historical sites of the province. Tourists and Buddhism followers visited Peshawar Historical Museums. Buddhism followers also saw the shrine in the museum where Buddha’s ashes were kept. During British rule, the British gifted Buddha’s ashes to the Queen of Thailand. Followers also performed religious rituals in the museum, on this occasion the Thai government also signed a memorandum of understanding with the Archaeology Department.
