Daniele De Santis.

Antonio De Marco’s defense lawyers, Andrea Starace and Giovanni Bellisario, had asked for
a new psychiatric report for their client, which had been rejected. So they had advanced the
request of “non-imputability” for De Marco, “because he is suffering from autistic and psychotic
spectrum disorders, which affected his willingness to understand and want when he committed
the murder”.
According to the prosecutor Maria Consolata Moschettini, however, the boy has always been
able to understand and want , lucid in venting his anger on the couple.
“We await the filing of the reasons, to assess whether to appeal ,” De Marco’s two lawyers told
reporters.
