As per the recently released Global Peace Index (GPI) 2022, which ranks 163 of the world’s nations in terms of ‘peacefulness’, Pakistan has been ranked 147th.

India has been ranked 135th while Iceland has been named the most peaceful country, New Zealand ranked the second-most peaceful country. New Zealand is followed by Ireland, Denmark, Austria, Portugal, Slovenia, Czech Republic and Singapore.
