An important development has taken place in the case of gruesome torture and murder of a 14-year-old boy in Karachi.
The district east police, while taking targeted action on technical grounds, arrested the woman and her son who left the body of a teenage boy in hospital in Bahadurabad and escaped. The police arrested them from a bungalow in Shaheed-e-Millat area.
The woman has been identified as Samreen Javed and her son has been identified as Farhan Javed.
According to police, the deceased boy, a domestic worker, has been identified as Aftab, and hailed from a town in Punjab. During the initial investigation, the mother and son have confessed to the crime.
